Many happy returns of the day, Great Plum, ever increasing in your greatness and plumminess.
Have a great time in the sunshine, methinks. Does Mrs Plum have something special planned that is able to be spoken of in mixed company? Or are you going to pull a sickie and have a doss all day?

Yes! A very Happy and Plumptious Birthday!
(Why Plum? Some strange CH experience gave you this name?)

Undoubtedly, there may well be some
That will whistle or pluck - even strum
On their instrument say
"Happy Birthday"
For a piccolo playing Great Plum.

I just ran out to the shops and saw a display labelled
PLUMS EXTRA RIPE
Insert an apostrophe, and, I think, an appropriate bd message!

Many thanks all...
I had a great day yestertday - had a day off so was able to spend some time in a pub garden in Kingsfold...
The Great Plum thing was a uni saying and instead of calling someone something rude, they would be called a 'great plum'... see, clear as mud!

Or....
PLUM'S PLUMS EXTRA RIPE.
Even better.
Piccolo playing has a lot to answer for.
