So Mr Blair is finally off. How is everone feeling about this? Happy? Sad?
Personally I'm a fan of him as a bloke, but not as a politician. I'm not particularly looking forward to Gordon Brown as PM though.

I shall start with the negatives:
Iraq
Disregard for democracy and the house of Commons
Over taxed
Spin
Presentation over principles
Focus groups
(and on and on....)
and now a seven week farewell tour

- hopefully he will not keep having them like Status Quo
And now the positives:

As for The Great Gordo:-
Fouling up the pensions system
Selling off half our gold reserves when the price was low
Never being there when bad news was to be announced
How is he going to follow that when he moves next door?
(I don't like Teflon Tony either)

I'm declaring our house a republic with me as Benevolent-Dictator-For-Life. If only politics was as much fun (and as sparkly) as the Eurovision Song Contest.
