It does restore faith in human nature. btw my house needs restoring if anyone fancies doing that while we're away on holiday!

There is a newsgroup which used to do things for handicapped people. For example a young girl was almost killed by a rogue driver, almost died and will be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Members were around to support her mother and to encourage her over the next five years; I'm delighted to say she was one of the Children of Courage (or some similar award) and she deserved it.

Unfortunately the group has been destroyed by merkins offending everyone and making rational conversation impossible. (That is the "acorn ear-ring" group mentioned previously).

So, what could we do as a forum membership? Support the BSB? Joint forum donation governor? Sponsor a pupil to and from school?
It's worth considering?
