Just in case you think I'm not posting so much, I'm off down to Exeter and Falumouth to see some friends over the next week... (just as the weather collapses into constant rain!) I'll be popping on and off when I can!

Have fun!

Hope you're having a great break.

Where is Falumouth by the way ?

Stuck in L'Aberwrac'h at the moment due to large waves etc in Channel. Hoping to return on Saturday without Jonathan who has returned by air today for CH prior to trip to Taize with chaplains.

Now very short crewed, but hope to return Falmouth/Helford on Saturday. Do contact me Plum - come for supper?

I gather there are pics on Facebook - whatever that is - of YOBS sailing last week. Anyone know how to [post a link to the photos?

We're home from the east now, so if you have access to a computer, Plum, and fancy a visit to Tavi get in touch. I can offer cheesy comestibles. Or tea and cake. Or a stiff gin.

I missed you all I'm afraid... sorry about that...

(even more ironic when I found out I was 3 doors down from DBTS's abode on Friday evening watching the fireworks...) DBTS was on a boat watching them at the time!

A good time down there though! :-)

Ditto comment to Plum, Vonny. Or indeed anyone coming this way for a visit. [/img]

Which bit of Devon, Vonny?
When I had to go to Exeter to do an OU exam, the students from the south of the county looked at me as though I should have a bone through my nose.

We're staying in Shaldon, near Teignmouth. We stayed there last year and enjoyed it so are going back 8) We spent a week in Exmouth in June - not exactly far from where we live but the shorter the car journey the better if you've got young kids
I don't think Shaldon is that close to you is it CJ?

About an hour from us - east of Dartmoor, the other side of the South Hams bump. Hubby did some of his PhD research there.
