Yes, Happy Birthday John. I think you noticed soon after I joined this forum that you are just 4 months younger than me - 1947 was a good vintage (J.R. as well I think!)

Many thanks for your good wishes.
I hope OOB just means older as I feel little different from a few days ago.
Went to a reasonable Argentine restaurant for a Bife and a good red.
Finished up the Xmas shopping and then went to a local bar to watch Real Madrid beat Barcelona in Barcelona for the first time in something like 24 years.
Things must be changing.
Hope you all have a relaxing Xmas.

A shame Charlton couldn't have given you a better result as a present.
It was so dire I ALMOST but not quite would rather have gone Christmas shopping at Bluewater and my hatred of shopping in all its guises is well known amongst my social circle!
