Do fire engines need holidays?

Can anyone explain why there should be a Hampshire Fire Services Fire engine filling up at the garage I passed on my way home from work this evening? It seems a long way from home. As far as I could tell it was a perfectly ordinary one and nothing special.

I was intrigued - has anyone any ideas to explain its presence in North West Wales?

Possibly crew and engine on an away-day training exercise ?
