I borrowed one of the photos from the CHA Room (old CH Club Room) in order to scan it in.
Well, I've finally got around to it, and have scanned it in and pieced it together.
The full-size image is over 12Meg - so a big download - but it seems the only way to make faces identifiable.

I think it's around 1995, based on one face I could identify...anyone able to confirm this?

If there's demand, I plan to scan in the others from the CHA Room and get them all on the CHA website - if you'd be interested in this, do let me know - otherwise I doubt I'll bother!

Jonathan has never forgiven me for bungling my order of that his only whole school photo.

and anything between 1947 and 1955 would be good - I think they had them then occasionally.

There was one on display in most houses in the mid-50s and dating from about 1950 I think. Famous for having someone (I mean the same someone) on it at both ends. (Are they still taken with a rotating camera, or just a wide-angle?) There were certainly none taken in the whole of my time.

I don't remember one of these in my time...

I'm not sure how many there are in the Club Room, but I've only see around ?10?

If anyone else has one (I believe my Mum has one from my years, which I'll try to digg out...) then let me know if you can get it to me, I'll scan it in.....or leave it with the CHA Office, and I can collect from there.

Would be good to get a collection going. I believe they did them every 7 years, so that in theory everyone would be in at least one?

Me Neither !!!

According to Greg Colton (the only face I recognised and am in touch with!), this is most likely to be from the school year 1995 to 1996, with the photo having been taken in the Summer Term 1996.

We had one taken at Hertford (1984 maybe) but there definitely wasn't one done at Horsham between Sept 1985 - July 88.

I think it is because it looks like I was on my UF as there were a number of kids 3 years below me (squits at the time) in the photo...

I think we may have had 2 or 3 big photos like this but I can't remember to be honest...

Well they didn't do any in my time (1982-1989) but I think they may have done one the following year.

Had to sign up and say Wow, definitely from 95/6 and my squits, swear I've got this knocking about somewhere.

I'm down at CH next month - is there enough interest to merit me scanning the rest??

Definitely !

This is definitely not 95, it's 96 (I am in the back row, 14th from the right!).

My year were really lucky in that school photos at CH like this are rare but we had one taken at the end of our first year in 1990 and at the end of our last year in 96 - it's very strange comparing the two! I have the the 1990 one somewhere and will try and get it scanned in at some point.
