i was gripped until i had to go out mid 2nd set! Im gutted Federer didnt win, i find him far more interesting player to watch than nadal-yes he is strong and can run round the court but with Federer there is a grace and effortlessness to his tennis! I hope he comes back from this and reclaims the grass at Wimbeldon in the summer (that is if Murrey does not)

I used to dislike Nadal, but having watched the Match ------ he is the better and fitter player.
I will take issue with those who are admiring the "Elegance" and "Style" of players --- in any game
I believe that the whole point of any contest is to WIN (Within the Rules, of course !)
I have always played to win --- I can't see the point of competeing otherwise-- When beaten, One has learned something !

It was interesting that when Nadal was having his thigh massaged (oooh quick fan) John Lloyd was saying how he didn't do it to put Federer off and I thought you didn't get to be No.1 (especially with Federer around) by playing 'games'.

It's a nice era for men's tennis again with the ice cold Federer bearing up againstt he fiery, feisty Nadal.

Nadal has certainly made great progress on all different surfaces and does add a bit of fun to the somewhat "clinical" approach of Federer. I see similarities in their rivalry and approach....Borg/McEnroe or Agassi/Sampras..
