well thank you all for the birthday messages!

I would like to say i had a fantastic day but i havent. When i went to go to work this morning i found some idiots had during the night thrown handful of coins at my lovely less than month old new car and smashed a window and left some considerable damage to the body work. So my day has been spent waiting for the glass company to locate osmehwere who has the right window, get it delivered and wait for the fitter.

However to try cheer things up im going for a bit of dinner sans les pub and a rather large glass of wine!

Crikey Amy, that's worse than bad luck, birthday or no birthday. And even if covered by insurance, you won't be able to claim back a 'no claims bonus' from the other person/people. Did you report it to the Police?
I shall hope that you really will enjoy that HUGE glass of wine tonight, and your meal.

What a crappy thread run Amy, I think you should make like the Queen and have another one - I suggest today! Leave the office immediately and buy yourself a big fat cream cake, get someone to take you for lunch and demand that Him-indoors buys you dinner tonight and something wrapped in pink!!

thank you Gerrie, yes Tuesday was my 2nd birthday and what a lovely day i had, i got to work and the flowers from finace parents in law were there.......cakes and generaly cheer (and sorriness for the horror of what happened to dottie (the car)!
Oh and of course all my pressies from the fiance were wrapped in pink as were just about all my cards pink!

I enjoyed my second day so much so i think i may make it a regular thing! and actually as im seeing my parents on saturday i may just make it to three days!!!
