Thank you all so much :)

Have just arrived home having flown in from Manchester this evening. The weekend was spent chairing the Timeshare Association's annual Conference (this year in Warrington.) As a result, my birthday celebrations have been postponed to next weekend when Oliver and I will be performing in the Cathedral on Saturday night and he will be doing the readings for Mothering Sunday in St Mylor Church.

Jonathan also will be home briefly; his term finishes at Exeter on Friday but he has to join HMS Trumpeter at Portsmouth on Sunday for a trip down this way. She will call in at Falmouth on Friday week when I believe Judith, Oliver and I are to be invited aboard by the Commanding Officer. His tour is supposed to finish at Padstow, but I understand that he will stay on board until the ship passes Falmouth on it's return.

The hotel receptionist did wish me a Happy birthday last night - the only one at the conference (300+ delegates) who had noticed!
