SOS (Save Our School)

I just heard that the school where I worked in Brazil might have to close, because the economic crisis has forced the withdrawl of some of the Korean families who work for the big electronics companies out there.

These families basically pay the full fees that keep the school afloat and enable the school to also teach Brazilans who cannot afford to pay the full amount.

I was wondering if there is any mileage in this story for a new report to raise support. Maybe there is someone out there who can rescue the school.

I don't know where to start, does anyone have any suggestions?

I know Brazilians are football fanatics. Is there any money in the game out there? Would it be possible to build links with a club like Santos and attract money that way?

All I can think of at the moment I'm afraid!

I'm with Andy, (Mid A15) on this one.

Brazil is NEVER short of money where their national sport is concerned.

I'm afraid its 'double-standards' !

It's a private school run by a lady from Milton Keynes, the the gov't doesn't have anything to do with it.
