Not sure if this is in the right place but if anyone could help me I'd be grateful!
Does the school run a fencing club that students are able to join and who should I contact to find out about it? (I'm a student in the GE)
Any help would be appreciated!

NMF has been running a fencing Active this term.
Not sure if it runs again next term though.

Does NMF mean Neil Fleming? If so...bl**dy hell. I did fencing with him, must be something like 22 years ago or even more. Blimey.

Kind ' a bizarre that a pupil has to ask a question about what is going on at CH???!!!

Tsk, you're all so suspicious these days. Initiative is one of the big things CH taught me. Of course, we didn't have the Internet in my day, so I'd probably have asked a teacher...

That truly is bizarre! And I know the pupil in question, so they're not even a prospective pupil! How odd.

I've been trying to find out about a fencing club too.
My son has done a bit and would like to do it at school. He is a 2nd former so don't know if it applies to him.
I have emailed Mr Flemming twice and on both occasions hasn't bothered to reply.
So don't know how else to find out about the club.

Tell your son to take a look at the active lists (they'll be on a noticeboard somewhere in house) - the ones with every active and its details, not the one with every member of the house and what they do. All the details will be on there.

REALLY ??
Not so strange then, that my youngest daughter had exactly the same problem with the school-office.
Perhaps there should be a position for an experienced OB as over-all administration manger.
Before I retired as an LGO, failure to respond to
ANY communication from the public within 5 working days was a disciplinary offence !!!!

It isn`t a "club" as such , merely an afternoon Active which may not be open to all year groups.
I think it`s only been on the list this term.
Your son could possibly address Mr F directly if he is very interested and has experience.
