Happy birthday Craig - have a good one. You will find this posted also elsewhere because I managed to put it on the wrong thread somehow, but never mind my incompetence, the wish is none-the-less sincere!

Have a good one.
Hopefully if you are out with your mate Mr Poll he won't be sure whether he has bought you two pints or three!
Like Frances I have also posted twice!

Ta very much - quiet night after work, it wasn't a big one after all.
I shall enquire of Mr. Poll's best mate whether he celebrated last night or not, he is not really an acquaintance of mine (although for many football fans, when you say you come from Tring their first question is "do you know Graham?")

Unless of course you happen to be a Formula 1 fan - didn't Lewis Hamilton come from Tring?

No, Lewis was from Tewin, near Stevenage - our motorsport connections are numerous though, Pat and Stirling Moss bith lived locally when younger, Pat returned here when she was older and stayed until she went into a home. Jackie Stewart lives in the next village (Wendover) next door to Mark Webber, and Mark also owns a pub in another village.
