Hello one and all,

I am running a half marathon around the Silverstone race track on the 14th March for cancer research, and it would be really nice if some of you lovely people would help by sponsoring me at http://www.runningsponsorme.org/sallyford4
If everyone on here sponsored me £2 I would easily beat my £1000 target (we managed it last year :D )

Thanks
Sally

I finished in 2.19. Not brilliant, but I finished despite a torn ligament (someone dropped their bottle rather than throwing it out of the way).

You did well to finish at all with a torn ligament!

I hope it is not too painful and heals up soon.

Kim is too shy and retiring to mention it (I remember her as a junior as very sporty) but she does either triathlons, or supermarathons. (or maybe both). so she feels your pain. I don't I am a slug.

It is in my genes though, my Dad ran his first at age 63 and got a medal every year for about 12 years.(in his age group).
