Happy birthday Ian. I well remember your 17th birthday in Taize - mainly because it meant that on the return journey you then became old enough to have your own allowance of alcohol!! Was it really that long ago? Doesn't time fly when you are not looking! Have a really good day.

That makes NO sense.... Baggy never went to Taize with us, and we didn't go at this time of year!! I think you're thinking of Chris Capell (?) who did go to Taize with us - in the summer.....
I am mildly embarrassed that I didn't remember Baggy's Bday, though!

Maria is quite right, it was Chris Capell that I was thinking of. How about the moderators just delete this topic altogether and spare my blushes; I suspect that Maria is in touch with Ian on Facebook anyway!!
