Good Excuse?

I had a report in yesterday, slight errors in it but a note on the bottom:

Sorry for any errors, have been away doing Early Music for 3 days - head not quite out of C14th.

Given that I am one of the most unmusical of OB's, so should I accept it as an excuse?

I'd give marks for originality if nothing else!

It's a long way away in South Wales this year. I count the crowned bard from Preselli as a personal friend.

When I was at CH, we had a Master, who would forgive misdemeanours for an "Original" Excuse ------

A Grecian was late for class --- some 15 minutes -- and pleaded, in a "Squit" voice --- "Please Sir, I got lost "

This being common among the new arrivals ------- he got away with it !!!
