I am sure some gentlemen (of a certain age) have some fond memories of this beautiful lady.

Guy Masterson was on Radio 5 talking about her at about 6.10pm - in all the posts about him being an OB I don't recall it ever saying his uncle was Richard Burton (his grandmother's sister's son, so I believe technically a second cousin?).

Yes she was married to Wilding and had 2 sons with him.
Wikipedia has it as below.

She really was the ultimate "Star" !------ with all that that entailed !
There was a joke going round, in the days when she was married to Michael Wilding, that we should have an Old Blues Re-union ---and bring our wives !!!

And to think that most of my generation, me included, knew her for having 8 marriages and being a friend of Michael Jackson!

Hi all... Yes, Elizabeth was technically my great-aunt by marriage. Richard was my great-uncle, but as he was brought up by my grandmother when their mother died (the was 18 years older than him and just married) he was brought up as an uncle. (You never call someone "great-Uncle" do you?)
I didn't mention it much when I was at CH because after I accidentally let it slip when the school showed 'WHERE EAGLES DARE" in 1972, I was mercilessly bullied and called a liar. After all, how was it possible I could be at that school if HE was my uncle. The bullying only stopped after I proved it with a signed picture signed to the boys of Leigh Hunt B.
Anyhow, after he died, I became an actor. That was in 1984. Today, I still act/perform, but am more a producer/director. I still cherish the influence of Duncan Noel-Paton and the encouraging words of David Newsome which led me to believe that I might be able to act, but at the time I had no real mind for it.
When Elizabeth Taylor died, I found myself the only member of the family who knew her, young enough to talk about her! So I did most of the interviews at the time.
