I thought I'd try and post daily an Old Blue who is on You Tube...
I'll start with Jess Greenfield (LHB 94-01)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeDp86MW98U
She is singing here with the Pete Moore Orchestra - a couple of days ago she was singing backing vocals for Dionne Bromfield on Blue Peter!
She was on the same year as my sister and she has a wonderful bluesy soul voice - she sang at both my 18th and my wedding!

Great Plum,
Excellent. I had never heard of her before, and the You Tube entry doesn't even mention her by name. Why don't you post her full name and a few details - a bit of publicity never does any harm!

Excellent idea, Matt. Good luck with it.
Meanwhile there are several dozen YouTube videos of Old Blues to be enjoyed at my blog:

Apologies for not posting anymore, but things have been somewhat fraught recently... (I will explain later but those of you with facebook probably know!)

My next one is a biggie - Christ's Hospital and Gene Simmons - the lead singer and womaniser from the rock band Kiss came and 'taught' at CH a group of LE (I think) for a series on Channel 4 called Rock School. Our very own Eruesto (Josh Bell) was the lead singer of the band called 'The Class'. The episode below is the final one in the series, filmed 6 months after they opened for Motorhead (yes really!) at the Hammersmith Apollo. 3 minutes in is quite chucklesome...

'Wolf Alexander' is actually Sacha Wolstenhome (son of Mr Wolstenholme who was the head of IT in the 90's) Sacha was on the year below me at school - very strange to see him as a wrestler!

Sorry, this 'daily' you tube vid isn't very 'daily' at the moment...
The latest offering is from Matthew Kimberley who was on the year above me at CH (91-98). He has a website called
www.howtogetagrip.com and has written a book of the same name. The clip from youtube below is him reading out one of the comments sent into his blog... (strong language!)

Another couple of videos for you...
Some of you have probably heard of Frankmusik (Vincent Turner - I'm guessing his years were 97-05) When at school, I remember him as being a very talented jazz pianist (also very irritating - I remember taking 3rd form prep in Maine B on my deps - he was hard work!!) Since leaving CH, he has become quite a well known record producer and has remixed a number of records as well as releasing at least one album of his own. He also was known before Frankmusik as Mr Mouth, and is an incredible beat boxer. See:

This has been his biggest hit single to date:

The girl in the video is Holly Valance (Flick Scully from Neighbours) The lucky so and so went out with her for a while!
