Surely this icon of the science dept merits a thread of his own. To this day I can still remember that "A true fruit is a ripened carpel and nothing else" & that if any one mentions Nitric acid you must immediately shout "Oxidising agent".

He certainly merits it, but he appears so often in other threads (search "Kirby") that most things have probably been said already.
