CCF summer camp

Gather there is an army camp just after they break up for the Summer hols. I know it is actually quite affordable (Hoorah!) - just wondered whether any parents out there had DDs or DSs who had been on it in recent years and did they enjoy it/find it useful? Think it would be a "good thing"......
