Saw them playing at Eden Sessions (Eden Project) in the summer. They were really good!

"Palma" Violets? I looked them up to see if there is a significance in the spelling. Some contemporary pun, perhaps?

I adore them, or at least, I used too when 'snogging' first started for me many many years ago !

Sorry, I might be being a bit slow here but do you mean they are young Old Blues or they are hooligans?

YOB's is a shortening of Young Old Blues.
