Old Blues interested in Sir Barnes Wallis and his achievements may like to know that there is a long and very informative article in the May issue of Aeroplane magazine concerning his Vickers Windsor bomber. This was the largest - and last - of the designs to use his geodesic construction method. It was due to go into large-scale construction in 1945-46, but was cancelled at the end of the war.
