Oh, and you can get them made from human hair, too.
Is this hair of the 'barber shop sweepings' variety, or do some people harvest their pubic hair for the purpose, so that others can have a wig after they've removed their own pubes?
All sounds a bit convoluted........

only RR could come up with pubic hair - if you want to know the truth about real hair wigs read on.....
Real hair wigs are made from what is called Virgin hair (no RR don't get excited!) it basically means that there has been no colourants, dyes or bleaches added to the hair. It has to be a minimum of 12" long ( and as for the metric/imperial question - imperial first - then convert to metric!)
It has to be in very good condition (ie you have to go to the hair dressers at least once every 6 weeks and have no split ends etc.. And you don't necessarily get paid for it...
So -
1. no pubic hair is no good for a wig as it's too wirey
2. Real hair wigs are very expensive
3. the scrapings off the hairdressers floor is only good for stuffing cushions
4. a mole is better than a cat for replacing the bald shiny spot into a luxurios smooth well grromed look..

sorry RR - but let's keep merkins out and leave the horse hair matresses we slept on at CH Herts out of it was well.....
My cat's (which was the original topic!) keep me warm, keep in the mice (just with broken necks) add the odd additional feather duster in the form or a wood pidgeon, but best of all, the always know when I am down - and curl up with me in bed and keep me company....
I love my puddy tads..
