Yes. it was certainly worth all the planning to see Michele and Louise's faces when I walked in with Big sis! :D It was also lovely for Big sis to see the improvement in Lou and spend time with her mum and dad.

Noooooo! Neill, that's very sweet of you but you have now highly embarrassed me! ( You might not find me anyway as I'm called Barnes Mum to put everyone off the scent. I actually work in another house. Barnes is my daughter's house. )

Glad to hear that she is improving and enjoyed her visitors so much.

I had an op when I was 12/13 so my Mum smuggled in my pet guinea-pig for one of the days using a holdall

We're home!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

The doctor came in tonight and Louise could leave, with 4 weeks of antibiotics :D :D :D

We've got an appointment for 2 week's time to check how the lung gunk is clearing, and if all is good she will just finish the rest of the antibiotics! I'm not thinking about what will happen if all is not good, because IT WILL BE! :D :D :D

Thanks so, so, so much for all your prayers, messages and positive thoughts, we really have appreciated it!

Wonderful news, Michele. I am quite tearful as I read your message! I guess there is still a road for Louise to climb, but being at home is so much better than being in hospital. I do so hope that it's only onward and upward for you all from now on.
You both remain on various prayer lists, in the meantime. I guess it will be a while before Louise can get back to school but at least in the meantime you can have a bath whenever you want!
Please take care, both of you.

Ooooh yes, a bath.....

We will take extra special care of her until she is completely better.

She is going to go to school next week for the Christmas dinner when the teachers etc serve the kids (can't miss that one  ), and to catch up with her friends. She really wanted to go in this Thursday for the Christmas shopping, but there's no way she'll manage that! She can walk for about 5 minutes, then has to rest for about an hour. Hopefully by next week she'll be much stronger and able to tackle the Barnes staircases!

Thanks again, Kerren - Barnes Mum kept passing on messages from you and some other people, and telling me how concerned you all were! I don't mind admitting we were very scared, but it was lovely knowing that everyone was thinking about us and willing Louise to get better.

Great news Michele! I hope everything will settle down now, with a continued improvement so that you and your family may have Happy Christmas.
