I have to say overall this is very disappointing and in no way sold the school to my other. We expected an introductory insight into the school and its various aspects. Many schools include a copy of their school mag, what their teams are up to, the musical calendar....the list goes on. Several produce CD roms and a DVD.
Is this part of the new admission policy? You've got to really be in such dire need that the 'prospectus' leaflet is superfluous and therefore merely structural support for the admissions forms in the envelope?
CH has so much to offer but if I didn't have the benefit of being an Old Blue, I would consider the school a tad odd based on this leaflet. What did I learn from it? Its a school, with an odd uniform and academic environment. So are many places.
CH Parents may not be wealthy but does that mean they don't require the same information as those with more means? My other felt that CH was being a little offensive and I had to stop him calling the school for what he called " a real prospectus".
Are you all sighing, saying "well, its a case of numbers - they are oversubscribed already so they spend as little as possible on these things..."??
