Who Was The Old Blue in Frankie Goes To Hollywood?
I remember years ago (1980s/1990s) reading an interview in a provincial newspaper with a vocalist who'd been appointed replacement vocalist in Frankie Goes To Hollywood during their last days. It said he was an ex-pupil of Christ's Hospital.
Glancing at the Wikipedia entry for Frankie Goes To Hollywood, I see mention of both Dee Harris and Grant Boult as having filled this role.
Does anyone know which (if either) was the Old Blue? Or was it someone else entirely?
In the interview, he observed that he'd been something of an outsider in the band, being neither gay nor in the habit of reducing his life to a shambles with drugs.

I don't know about this but the sister of the drummer in Curiosity Killed the Cat was at CH...

I was always told some of the members of MARRS (they of Pump Up The Volume) fame were OBs. Probably not true....
My therapist says I have a preoccupation with vengeance. We’ll see about that.

I was at CH in the '50s with Dave Carr (Prep B and Mid A) who became the keyboards player in The Fortunes who had chart hits, notably "This Golden Ring". I believe they're still playing oldies package shows but I don't know if Dave is still around.
