On a related subject, did anyone see the Women's England vs France game at Twickers? Good skills, pulsating match, thrilling finish - and a mass catfight in the second minute.

No I did not see it.
But the mens game was horribly boring. There will be a lot of fed up players in a year or two. Defence defence etc etc.

Unfortunately not.
After 40 years my dearly beloved is well used to my interest in sport but Gillingham v Charlton Athletic on the ifollow stream, followed by England v Ireland immediately afterwards, is as much as I felt reasonable for one day during 'Lockdown' although I did watch some of Wales v Georgia too.

Another solid 65 minutes or so for Joe yesterday. He also, to steal association football terminology, had a siginificant 'assist' in Mako Vunipola's try forcing him over the line. Unlike the other week against Georgia, when Joe did similar for Jack Willis, at least Bryan Habana noticed yesterday.
Let's hope Joe gets another deserved start in the Final against France next week and England win to give him a winners medal.

I'll echo that, Andy. A good all round assessment. Making it harder each week for Jones to leave him out.Mid A 15 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 11:18 am Another solid 65 minutes or so for Joe yesterday. Good win yesterday also for your team over the Tractor Boys.

At least Joe got his winners medal just! Not too sure why he was removed on 43 minutes unless injured because I thought he was one of our better forwards in the first half not that that says much!

Disturbing stuff coming out at present about head injuries. Hope Joe Launch and others have the sense to make a decent living for a while and then get out.
