I am happy to share that I am completely aware of my own gender. However, the reasons for this displaying against every posting do not yet outweigh the reasons not to.

None of your damn business (that's the reason, not a personal comment).

And if you can't work it out from my snappy moniker... (don't think I've ever typed that, how's my spelling?)

Oh and now I'm a third former - that didn't take long. How many does it change on? 25? Is there a list somewhere (no, I haven't bothered to read the instructions)?

It looks right to me...

And yes, I have worked it out! ;)

There is a list somewhere - but where I do not know!

OK, I've finally manged to get my signature to work. Ha!

Knew there'd be a use for that HTML I learnt once upon a time...

I like the Gender: Unknown thing, it makes me smile! Don't ask why, I just think it's funny.

Thanks, sorry, I just asked you the same question somewhere else. Ignore me.

I will be unemployed if I keep this up.

Yeah but you're less likely to get fired and have to go home and get a phone line and broadband installed in your house so you can carry on.

You might already have a home phone line. Always seemed like a waste of time to me, but now there's 24 meg broadband, I might just change my mind.

Rant over.

24 meg broadband - my aging PC at home isn't connected to the net and would probably self combust...

Yeah well I've never had my own internet connection, have to rely on employers for that.

I can internet access through my laptop and mobile for about £13 for 10 mins, but I've only tried that once.

Funnily enough.

OK, time to embarass myself. I've seen it all over the place but what does HTML stand for and how do you learn it?

Hyper Text Markup Language. It's not a real programming language, it's just tags to change the display of stuff.

I learnt it from a book and then was unemployed so took some free lessons but they're not really necessary.

If you type one of these post things, select some text and click B for bold, above your typing, you'll see what the HTML looks like as you type, then when you post you'll see the outcome i.e. the text will be bold.
