I note that the Griffin crests (and the adverts) change the name of the school to "Christs Hospital".

Not much there. Few postcards and a page from an old mag.
Anyone know where I can get hold of a school scarf? You know, the proper one, blue with two gold stripes down the length.
Cheers.

What?
The ones that look like Oxbridge college scarves??? (Not the knitted one with two stripes at each end, I have one of those already.)
Mother Plum knits them? I don't believe it.

I came across two full housey uniforms once at Kempton Antiques sale
I informed the man selling them that they were certainly stolen as all school clothes belong to the school
He gave me a surly and slightly menacing look
No scarf, though

If i remember correctly, Ruth , the uni type scarves are no longer being produced (probably "no demand" !) I think there were one or 2 in the second-hand clothes box once upon a time - no idea what would have happened to then though, I`m afraid. ... Not much help really !!

How many types of School Scarf are there then Ruthie ?
I have the original issue, purchased from John Lewis in London, which must be the one you refer too. Knitted with the double gold stripes at either end.
I seem to recall another one which was something to do with the Rugby XV. Is that what you are after ?

I think Ruth is after the original one - I think it's only my mum who knits them now!
