Re: COVERT MEETINGS
I feel another meeting coming on - represented by Newton Abbot, Flushing, Tavistock and what about Barnstaple? Are there any others out there? Next question, what is the geographical centre of all that?petard249 wrote:Dave-by-the-Sea/cj
What's this about a meeting in Exeter?
Disappointed of Newton Abbot
PS Some blatant publicity! I'm singing in Torrington on Saturday 25th March, at the Parish Church (St Michael & All Angels). The Winkleigh Singers plus guest soloists from the Royal Academy - Mozart's Coronation Mass, Bach Cantata 182, Mendelssohn something and one of the bits from Rachmaninoff's All Night Vigil. Tickets available on the door (£10).

Re: COVERT MEETINGS
Sorry about that, David. It's just that Oliver was singing/running in foreign parts beyond the Tamar and ............... well one thing kind of led to another!petard249 wrote:Dave-by-the-Sea/cj

However, there is talk of a combined Devon/Cornwall regional group (s) Founders Day bash in Plymouth under the chair of the Commodore of the CH C&SC. Once we get the division of labour sorted in the organisation we shall no doubt make a move.
Basically the Exeter meet was just tea by the river and admiring each other's kids - possibly not quite your cup of tea. We enjoyed it but I don't think you missed a lot!

Why would anyone want to smoke in such good company??!! There`s no time with all the chatting!Richard Ruck wrote:Well, back to the Black Jug?? It's quite civilised there.....Mrs C. wrote:Easter drinkies anyone?
No good for smokers, though.
Perhaps we should arrange a time and date - and then tell the rest of them so anyone can join us.

Perhaps if anyone else is going to be in Horsham in the next 2 or 3 weeks they could let one of us know - the more the merrier, don`t you think?!
