As this was my thread I'll ask if anyone has any thoughts on Mr Higgins, especially as a lot of you youngsters probably know (knew) him.

I don't really mind tangents at all. I do it. Plum is right about the stickies though.

I do remember him (as he was in my junior house and the Higgins family lived opposite Peele A attached house)

He has certainly mellowed since he left school...

Does anyone remember that strange French teacher who helped out in Pe A for a while, about 1995/6? My parents went to a Christmas party with Mr and Mrs Plum senior, and he was there, and my mum said to me afterwards, "he was acting really strangely, I think he was on DRUGS!"

For a level what? ... a level headed person, perhaps?

I get the feeling that there was at least one odd teacher at CH for every generation of students that attended the school. Most of ours seemed to be assigned to the design and Tech block

there was more than one

Mr Eason, who used to stand at the classroom door and tap his watch and frown at you for being late, but never actually said anything.

That's because his lessons were conducted entirely in French, which meant I didn't understand so went from set 1 to set 3 due to his fantastic teaching. We used to sit behind the curtain that went across in front of the bay window, and some lessons he didn't notice us there for the whole hour and 10. Mad!

Is Mr Eason still there? If so it would be interesting to know if he actually notices Old Blues day
