throat is better almost completely but picked up horrid bug while down in Horsham for the weekend. would have said it was a hangover but i was really ill and still am not totally better now... and of course i only drank 2 1/2 pints...
but ended up smoking (see, on topic) again which is bad...
Well I am still smoke free and proud of myself. It is one heck of a battle but I am winning so far. I am not strong enough to enter a room full of smokers but it will come soon.
Great news, best of the day.
Yesterday I had one h**l of a devil's advocate about Health & Safety Policies, at the meeting I was speaking at. Couldn't tell her to shut up - instead said I would consult higher authority - and remembered my stress management - she was held under water longer than anyone else!!! Then the thought of teenage lads breaking into Hertford in Housie and skiing masks and bearing Black Magic brought me to my senses by the time I had to give my main presentation! Thanks Forum!
Today's another day, just going to go to the bank then home and into my glad rags before going to Wrexham. I must be mad!!
Keep thinking that 95% of every fag you smoke is going into Tony Blairs pockets and that should help.....
I have cut down - last time I stopped smoking though I had a craving for chocolate covered peanuts and raisens....... so I had to stop that as well!!
Giving up is always hard - Especially if Anne is still at it - give her a nudge from me to STOP smoking in the house! SHE HAS TO SMOKE OUTSIDE - whatever the weather! That's what we do - and it soon gets to the point that it's too cold, too wet etc so you go without!
give me a buzz and I'll talk to her!!

The crazy think is that I don't notice Ann's cigarettes, her smoking doesn't bother me. She is going to stop when she is ready, if I push her too soon, she will just cave in and start smoking again
