I seem to have lost the posting war now - got my buttons and have slowed down to a tortoise effect!

ho hum part of it is not getting the emails from the forum due to AOL stoppiong all incoming on port25 - have to ask JT if that's the port the forum sends out on - if so then eventually most of us will be affected..

what a downer!

well set up a web-based email, hotmail, yahoo, lycos or something

and check that

AOL is evil anyway...

I haven't had a problem with AOL at all - please don't do a DBTS on me - and make a decision that this is so! Be a bit more open minded! I have vairous emails just the forum doesn't want me to use them - hence the restart of me..... I think we should all restart actually with different names and see how quickly we canget from 2nd former to Buttons - Sean of course will win, unless rain causes play to be called off for JR!

well I've had massive problems with AOL...

I was referring to my own problems with them, wouldn't comment on yours as I don't know the detail

i've never used AOL but their software was on a laptop I bought... and it would not be removed

also when I worked for an internet training company, people who used AOL to go online had huge problems running our courses but no one else did

hence I hate them, sorry!

I don't think you're going to get us all to start with new monikers (although it would be fun to see how quickly we could work out who was who!) but if you're that interested, record today each of our totals and subtract from any future point!!!!

no I nkow what hte problem is - there is nothingm much I can do about it EA has the same problem - so we are in the dark these days ... hence I have to pull up an old connection and then pull it up again so I have a permanent connection to the site!

sad or what?! Perhaps I will re-invent myself.......
