i have no idea - it's pagan is about all I know - not that it means much to me - i usually don't even realise - I was just looking up at my calendar above the pc - and thought I was a week ahead already!

definately to do with the Knights Templar, who were anything but pagan I think, ubt I might have got the year wrong.

If my memory serves me well, and usually it doesn't (probably beer related) I think it was October, too!

yeah but no one's really scared of it so there's no need to try and remember to spell it... surely?

it must be a 'copy and paste' only sort of a word, who would bother??

It does derive from Greek, as do most words describing phobias.

I did have to check the spelling, as it's not a word I would use all the time.

I can remember how to spell triskaidekaphobia, though, which is plain old fear of the number thirteen.
