Fancy earning shed loads of money in the US when you quit being PM? Bush will open up a load of doors for the lecture tour and a few honourary deanships of a few US universities. He will get a load of tv work over there too. I think TB also forgot that the CIA has never been right about a threat assessment since the agency was created.

That name rings a bell too now you mention it! Elderly short lady with grey permed hair. No they are not - wrong sometimes undoubtedly and occasionally misguided but they are never stupid. It is a very British thing to underestimate Americans but it is something we do at our peril.
