Posh - nah - we're only going to be in the Borough of Greenwich - not the nice bit. Defo the cheap end for us - but we'll be able to walk into Blackheath / Greenwich in about twenty mins or so - which will be nice. So - not so much posh; more middle classed complete with skiing holiday.

oh well, I've never been skiing but lots of my friends have. Does that make me 'wanna-be middle class'? I do hope not.
Somehow I managed to be one of the select few to recieve a prayer book too (and no I wasn't a monitor or anything..)- although it wasn't formally presented to me. It does have the nice sticker thing in the front tho.
My bible and prayer book were delivered to my Brighton address in a jiffy bag quite a while after I left. They left an insert in the Bible which reads 'With compliments - Christ's Hospital' - I don't know why, but I found that insert very amusing when I received the mystery package from C.H. Apparently my name was called out during the leavers service after I left!! (I left after the end of my deps)

I thought everyone received both books.
The best way to forget your troubles is to wear tight shoes.

Not quite sure who got both books, grecians only maybe, but we got a choice of a prayer book or a companion to the bible.

Never heard of anyone getting more than a bible in my day. We was deprived in those days - you youngsters don't lknow what hardship is (that's a ship on the end so pipe down JR)
Having more money doesn't make you happier. I have 50 million dollars
but I'm just as happy as when I had 48 million.

Is this something I should know about? Which end are we referring to?
After all your experience at CH you should know where the back end (as opposed to the stern - that was Kit) is. At your age, unless you are competing with Charlie Chaplin, I wouldn't bother knowing.

No- there were only a few of us who got them this year (prayer books).. it seemed to be only the few who had taken it upon themselves to go to communion regularly on a weds morning.. so it was to serve as a special reminder i think..
