One short of the Big 0 - I can't believe it!
My birthday is a little bit marred by the fact that things are moving very slowly and I am still 'camping' (with the dog) in the parts of my house which remain relatively unscathed after a major flood on 10/11 February - and I am not looking forward to the restoration works which will be pretty extensive downstairs. I am also missing my cats - who had to go to the cattery (at the Insurance Co's expense) when it became clear that they were showing too much interest in the open floorboards upstairs.
But I can feel a Nice Bottle of Wine coming on tonight....after which the state of the house won't matter so much!
Don't worry Katharine.. I am sure we will be straight again by the time you visit us in May.....
