“Basically it’s a waiting game,” Sergeant-Major Marty Pelling says as the Marines disentangle themselves from their Vikings. “We just wait here and see if we can annoy them enough to shoot at us, then we give them a good spanking.” :D

I still think it's time to consider pulling everybody out.

I was really annoyed to read that there will be no further investigation into the MURDER near Basra of our Military Policemen.

Apparently, if we managed to arrest the perpetrators, we would have to hand them over to the Iraqi courts, who would, if they were found guilty, be hanged. As this country, (rightly OR wrongly), doesn't support the use of the death sentence now, the case has been dropped.

Another case of Blairite double standards.

We spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on a stupid and pointless Court Martial where everyone was found not guilty of killing a civilian Iraqi, then allow muderers to walk free.

I rest me case, Me Lud !!

Wrong country JR!

But in Iraq, the British army is doing much better than the Americans.
