There was a name for the trick of setting all the boards so that they fell through when a weight was put on the bed.... Can't think of the name, perhaps I am getting old!J.R. wrote:Gently remove about four of the boards and watch him disappear through the ensuing hole !
But I do remember the bath full of cold water, filled the night before, with the 'lav end' windows left open all night in the winter! We had to jump in and submerge straight after getting out of bed in the morning... I was never the first one in, usually waited for most of the water to be cascaded over the top by the previous 'bathers'. That was when I first learned what a nano second was.
Strange though, when I think back.... we had the cold bath full to the top but if you wanted a hot bath there was a short black line painted on the inside of the bath about 5 inches above the plug hole - you were not allowed to fill the bath above that level!
