Aerobics?. I hate aerobics. I had to do aerobics for a term here for p.e and I thought it was awful. I somehow don't think I'll take it on. They would have to drag me kicking and screaming to do that. Hockey on the other hand, I'm fair at that.blondie95 wrote:Myself and many of the other BaB girls religiously took term after term Aerobics on a thursday, house leagues on monday when the school teams were training! Although I was in the tennis team in the summer term! And on our grecians we had to a compulsory double lesson of something on a monday again we all took aerobics!

Yes Andrew, I think you are correct..... I find it most strange that I picked the word in my post yet could not remember it as the name.AndrewH wrote:Setting? I think it was by the '70s anyway.John Knight wrote:There was a name for the trick of setting all the boards so that they fell through when a weight was put on the bed.... Can't think of the name, perhaps I am getting old!
John... going OT again - sorry.

I did swimming for Grecians PE, only the lifeguards supervised so you could spend half your time in the sauna....!

Will the sauna be available on Old Blues' Day? See you there, girls; thought I'd book a manicure mid afternoon?Hannoir wrote:I did swimming for Grecians PE, only the lifeguards supervised so you could spend half your time in the sauna....!

I don't know what is on offer for afternoon activities, but if you're musical then band and chapel choir (excellent trips out of school), or if you're a budding thesp then the theatre is fab. Whatever you're 'thing', you'll be able to indulge it at CH.gemmygemmerson wrote: What are the best extra curricular activities and how many different ones do you take on, on average?.

I used to do Community Service (on my GE I think) on a Weds afternoon. We used to go to an old peoples home for a couple of hours and help with teas etc and just chat or whatever. I don't think we had to do anything on the Grecians - I don't recall doing anything anyway

Sauna. hmmmm
I'm thinking about taking russian, aswell as Italian. Though it may be a little much since I'm taking Latin as an A level.
( Handed in my d.t project today, I am delerious with happiness )
Will I be taught to march?. I did Air Cadets and from what I can see from the marching, they do it differently so, will I be taught to march or will I have to fumble along for a bit until I manage to seam in perfectly?.
I may carry on the tradition of watching the Rugby matches
but I shall not commit to anything lest people think I am slightly weird. They will realise that by the time I go there but it will be nice not to have a few people thinking I am weird.
