Very good, Richard

It's a long story. It was when I was working at Egham and we used a garage at Virginia Water to bunker fuel our HGV vehicles away from their home site in Northamptonshire. I was at the garage the day after the previously referred to accident, to check our fuel account.

On my arrival, I saw a very short, long-haired gentleman with his back to me and a tall willowy female, talking to Pat, (the garage proprieter). I walked over, calling my usual rude greeting to Pat, who immediately introduced me to a certain, 'Mr and Mrs. Starky'.

The garage had pulled the wrecked roller back from the scene of the accident as at that time Ringo was living at Wentworth. He took me to view the damage to his beloved car in the car-park. He was very humorous about the whole incident.

As I said in my previous post, a lovely gent. Absolutely NO airs and graces, unlike some of his fellow band members.
