EUROVISION anyone??
Sorry folks, it has to be done!....
I somehow managed to succumb to the "delights" (?!?)! of Eurovision last night - tha biggest load of cr@p I`ve heard/seen for ages. I`d forgotten just how bad it was. Not only the entries (which were supposed to be the BEST of each country`s offerings - goodness knows what the others were like!), but also the voting which is just so obvious. I told my daughter at the start of voting that if no-one else voted for UK ,at least Ireland and Malta would - and where did the UK votes come from??. With hardly a Western European country represented ,what a surprise that a former Eastern bloc country wins. (with , IMHO the most dire of entries!).

... and he `s still making the same comments about the votes as he used to make years ago - " I wonder who`ll get Norway`s 12 points? Oh yes . could it be Sweden??" " I don`t think Poland will be giivng their 12 to Germany" .... I could write his script for him!

Oh dear..... but then it is possibly the worst of European music, so he could well be rightenglishangel wrote:I went to bed at 9pm but the offspring stayed up and #1 son reckoned Serbia deserved to win, if the Ukraine didn't!
He reckons Serbia, Slovenia and Finland

i did watch it but only saw first half of voting as was nice enough to go pick bf and friend up from town!
I think the problem with eurovision (bar the bad songs and costumes) is that whilst there are so many eastern european countries in it, all those countries will do well as the all voted for each other.
I thought the Serbian song was awful and thought and hoped the Russian girls would win-i actually lied that
And at least we were joint with the French so maybe they will realise that Europe isn't as keen on them as they think
oh the fun of it all

Our entry was fabulous. Any song that manages to get at least one reference to oral sex in gets my vote. Serbian lesbianism is obviously the way forward in contemporary music.

With a very cheeky glint in his eye, one of the air stewards asked whether a passenger would like anything to suck on landing.blondie95 wrote:I think i missed that.....cj wrote:Our entry was fabulous.
