CH Flag on water tower at dusk..

Took this a couple of years ago - think it was just before the Queen's visit - don't think I ever got around the posting it:-

Have they fixed the access to the flag pole yet?
Will the flag be flying like this on Old Blues Day next Sunday?
I hope so.....

I thought I read somewhere that whilst fixing the Water Tower, they came across more things to do which implied that it would not be possible to have the flag flying on Old Blues Day.

It seems the upkeep of CH is a little like painting the Forth Bridge, never ending.

You did John, that is why I am asking....
A Health & Safety problem with the internal ladders since the tanks were removed.
I am just wondering if the problem has been fixed in time for next Sunday.
