Concrete Appreciation Society?
Just now as I came home from work, I walked beside the Glaslyn estuary marvelling at the wildlife and the view of the mountains. There was a cormarant juggling with his catch so that he could swallow it, as well as swans and other waterbirds. The other morning I was privileged to see an osprey there - a truly majestic sight.
I then got into my car and as I left the car park, perhaps 100 yards from that estuary, I was amazed to see a couple sitting beside their car, they were eating fish & chips. They had positioned their folding chairs very carefully to give them a full view of a concrete store no more than a few feet from them. Do you think they are members of the Concrete Appreciation Society? Will they take back happy memories of their visit to Porthmadog?

Yes... I too was thinking that when their picnic had begun decades ago - they had got their folding chairs dug in there - unable to extricate themselves - supplied with nourishment from concerned locals.
The osprey will take up position on their B & Q picnic table. The cormarant will juggle with hand-fed large cod'n'chips + salt'n'vinegar.
Eventually when Green Pressure causes the concrete edifice to be dismantled, the couple will find themselves prime exhibits in a Rare Breeds Conservation Project. Happy ending!
