I have just heard that the Blue is the largest ever edition and is going to print on Monday. Copies are available for £10 on application to the CHA Office and should be available before the end of term. I assume that it will be available online also at the CHA site.
Does anyone know if 2007 leavers will get one for free or do they have to apply like the rest of us?

Now happily married in Oz with 2 daughters - get occasional email from his wife Maggie telling all how they were getting on (although IIRC they were thinking of going to Canada for a while).cj wrote:Are you related to Tristan Bevan who was in Mid during the 80s?

I saw the magazine the other day - not in its final format admittedly, but printed on A4. It looks really good, all who read it must take note of the article on the YOB Sailing trip with Davebythesea, written by me! The accompanying photos are fairly amusing.
In reply to someone's (much) earlier question - No, Tristan is not a relative of mine. My Grandad and I are the only two from my family to have been to CH, BUT my sister has just been invited to interview to enter as a new dep (as I did last year) in 2008!

I have today received my copy of the Blue and I must say I think it is magnificent in spite of the poor old Eddystone being re-named "the Falmouth Lighthouse".
I wonder if anyone can tell me if 2007 leavers have got a copy??? After all it is their year that is covered by the current edition, and I do hope they will not be asked to pay £10 for a copy ehen presumably the squits will receive theirs free even though much of the content will pre-date their time at Housey. Seeing it online is not quite the same as holding this glossy and weighty production in the hand.
However, let me not be distracted from warmly congratulating Ian Stannard and his team at CH - I think they have produced the best ever edition of The Blue.

Can we view it online or do we have to purchase it?DavebytheSea wrote:I have today received my copy of the Blue and I must say I think it is magnificent in spite of the poor old Eddystone being re-named "the Falmouth Lighthouse".
