Christmas songs when it's not Christmas

Post by Wuppertal »

OK who else finds themselves listening to Christmas songs when it's not Christmas?

I put some onto my music collection around Christmastime, and let it play on loop, and now when a Christmas song comes around, I very occasionally consciously don't skip it! I love Christmas music but don't want to take the magic and excitement out of it that only occurs at the right time of year, so should really save it for then.

Not so much Christmas music, but my daughter's favourite movie (well one of them) is "Muppets Christmas Carol" with Michael Caine as Scrooge, and she loves watching it on really hot days in the summer holidays, she says it makes her feel cool.

I enjoy certain Christmassy films the year round.

Gremlins etc.

Not sure about Christmas music, though !
