I love your sig line. Should I know where it comes from?

I see there's a Wilkinson's near me. I'm not sure if I've ever been in, but I'll check it out. I love stuff.

Storage things to put more stuff in is a popular line too.

That's a good point, Idgie: a very good point. That said, I can already imagine the comments you'll get for choosing gingerism!

Man, the remarks I got last year in NDIW are going to be nothing compared to this...

Ginger!

Post by Angela Woodford »

I point out that the beautiful heroine of Edith Maude Hull's The Sheik is a redhead!

Listen! "The long curling black lashes that shaded her eyes and the dark eyebrows were a foil to the thick crop of loose red-gold curls that she wore short clubbed about her ears."

Although these dark lashes are a bit of a giveaway. I think she's been at the 1947 version of Schwartzkopf XXL!

Going Ginger!

Post by Angela Woodford »

Oh Idgie! I was quite excited shopping yesterday and rushed to look amongst the hair colours for gorgeous ginger shades.... but there was very little choice! I was very disappointed. But I will look some more elsewhere. It's interesting for me to look at completely different colours.

When I was going through my blue/black phase two years ago, an economical way to do it was to visit a professional beauty stuff suppliers and get a bottle of Diacolor mixer and a tube of the colour, and mix up exactly the quantity and shade I wanted! No waste, less packaging, and a supply which lasts for ages. I needed a little tinting brush as well.

I'm imagining you'll want a fashion colour rather than a natural shade?

When I go grey, I'll be able to choose something more exciting!

Love from Angela

Carrot top au naturelle!

No, no! You want to look naturally ging! For one thing, you can fool the school into thinking you're really a ginger, and also it won't get you Spoken To By The Marshal.

oh dear. you have so much to learn!
the tag line comes from Bill and Ted's most excellent adventure through time - one of the best films ever made. they say it at a point when they find out they are worshiped in the future and are asked how everyone should live their lives. they look at each other [bill and ted] and say "Be excellent to one another" and "Party on dudes!" saw it for the first time aged 5 and it has been my motto ever since! (also since then, the word 'excellent' said in a certain way, has become a real rock'n'roll word, and has been borrowed for other amazing films such as waynes world, and J and Silent Bob. )

i don't quite know how anyone can NOT have ever been in wilko! ours has just had a refurb - i found out today - they now sell milk!!!!

i think ginger hair colour must be in great demand in the burgesshill area, maybe it's where the unwanted ginger hair-colour ends up... as for natural or fashion shades of ginge - i'm not sure ginger IS a fashionable colour to begin with (no offense josh) but i was maybe thinking a sort of Molly-Ringwald-In-The Breakfast Club-look? tis the right style for my hair...

any thoughts???

A stunning colour! Absolutely! I'm all in favour of fooling this Marshall, whoever it is. It looks natural.

I totally agree with you, Idgie - truth be told, I'm thinking of going brown...

But what the heck. Go ginger anyway and see if anyone notices.
