Hmmm.... remind me of that next time I'm clearing up cat vomit, or the stuffing from my sofa where the cats have clawed right through the upholstery, or mopping up little puddles around the house when one of them gets cystitis.

You want high blood pressure? Get a Burmese. In fact, I've one all ready packed up and ready to post.

My mum's got 2 Burmese and they're lovely. Attention-seeking nutcases but lovely. And very docile.

I'm sorry to cast in my four pennyworth, but this is 'old-hat' !
I suffer from high blood-pressure and have to take a cocktail of drugs to control it.
A couple of years ago, I had to wear a blood-pressure monitor for 24 hours. It was remarkably obvious from the hospital results that when one of our cats had been sitting on my lap having a 'cuddly time', my blood-pressure dropped dramatically.

Good for you. When my late son got his cat about 30 years ago the result was that I couldn't walk as far as the other side of the road. Disposal of the cat allowed me to get better (emphasis on the "er") but I will still have to take pills for the rest of my life.J.R. wrote:I'm sorry to cast in my four pennyworth, but this is 'old-hat' !

As for BP, I blame sports at CH for a low resting pulse rate** and a BP which is close to being too low. (for the nurses about 100/65 during the day, less when I wake)
** even the running machine hardly got it over 100
Having more money doesn't make you happier. I have 50 million dollars
but I'm just as happy as when I had 48 million.
