Becomming a New Dep

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Yay for Tom Bombadil!

Also, yay, I'll be in your Philosophy class!

Note to self: don't say "yay" too many times...

Oh right, We at school thought it was due to a New Dep ( you ) on the forum persuading him to do it and thus have been trying to change his mind for ages.
Don't get me started about Tom Bombadil. Josh can tell you himself how much I hate Tom Bombadil. Especially at the Breakfast table.( seriously).

Are you looking forward to induction week?, it is an amaing week where everyone stares at you weirdly trying to work out who you are and you can get away with everything. I must have missed Roll call abotu 6 times and missed about 4 lessons due to complete ' Oh My god I have no idea what I'm supposed to do aaaaaaaaah' ness.

Induction week Induction week!.

That mystical week in which you finally step into CH for good and make lots of friends and wear....HOUSEY!. It's really really really fun. I want my induction week again, thought I think I would make a few different choices.

I can't believe neither of you are taking Latin, or Maths, of History. Do you know if anyone got interviewed for Latin?.

I've never done any Latin, I dislike Maths (plus, I'm only getting a A/B, so it's not a wise choice) and I didn't take History for GCSE. I'm happy with my choices.

i WAS going to take history, it's my favorite subject, BUT the era that was to be studied didn't really appeal. i wanted to do classical civilisation, but it wasn't an option, so archaeology was closest. i can't stand maths, i too am an A/B so taking A-Level maths would be A REALLY bad idea. i USED to do latin at primary school, but it wasn't an option at my secondary school. The choices i made were based purely on enjoyment and ability, so all of those stuff i get A*s in!... so there's my explanation!

Same with me.

The odds are that we'll have Philosophy together, it seems. I'm looking forward to philosophy. By the way, did you get my PM reply?

should have done... i'll check again

i am a pro at chavtalk! my mum has begun to get worried that'll actually begin talking like that... but i wont! i swear... though i have started calling everyone 'babe' with out thinking... that could be an issue...

OH ok, now new question, directed at all old-blues!
what are the CH swearing policies?
growing up with a father like mine (a punk from SAAAAAF-LAANDAN - south london to the rest of the world), swearing has become part of my every-day dialect - i am by no way expecting that we're allowed to swear in class/chapel/in front of staff... but not swearing in front of my peers could be... shall we say, difficult? :P

I love chav talk! British culture at its best, bruv.

Oh crap, I've gotten into the habit of swearing when I play the piano...I'll have to stop doing that...

imagine that... unfortunately i have sworn in church before, whilst doing my RS coursework!
i felt SO bad afterwards, but in my defense i HAD just nearly fallen down the stairs to the Belfry, and had only grabbed the hand-rail just in the nick-of-time... father David didn't seem to mind though

*swears a lot*
i didn't send the PM... i'll try again... but i can't remember what it said... hrmmm
