Sudden Anxiety -
Hello Matt!
I suddenly felt worried that the Jiffy bag I've sent wouldn't be large enough for a CH scarf! Is it?
I took said Jiffy bag to the Post Office and weighed it with my biggest woolliest scarf to judge the postage. (The Post Office lady is still eaten up with bitterness at being multi-punished for Talking In The Corridors at school, by the way! And They didn't have a nice school scarf. And another thing...)
I just hope it's big enough, oh dear!
Thank you Matt - love from
Angela

It's very warm!
The scarf has arrived! I love it - wearing it about the house right now.
Thank you Matt. It will be wonderful to wear around Hertford for additional ID!

I'm glad it arrived all safe and sound... the jiffy bag was a snug fit, but fit it did!
Glad you like it!

My new scarf!
I simply don't understand why he is boggling. Snug fit? Of course - my new warm scarf and me!
And - it's going to be a cold Easter!

Re: Which scarf do you like best?
How I love my new scarf, so kindly crammed into a Jiffy bag by Matt! It's really warm.
However, prior to its outing in Hertford, I'm aware from previous postings (tuck in a loop? Knot the ends?) that there may well be a current style of scarf-wearing about which I don't know. Would any of the cognoscenti tell me? I've been wearing it looped round my neck once, both sets of stripes forwards, but to those in the know this may be the mark of a total nerd who's ignorant of true style...
Mary Mc informed me recently that during our final years there was a craze for acquiring and wearing a boys' scarf. I had no idea! Just goes to show that Mary had her finger on the very pulse of the latest trend.

Matt.. how does one get a scarf from your mother?
Don't worry about the over-stuffed jiffy bag which causes so much hilarity on the Forum. I am only a few miles down the road and could collect...

Well, they are for sale in the tuck shop - or if you want, I can give you her phone number and you can arrange to collect.
Tuck shop is normally open 2-4ish Monday - Friday, 3.30-5ish in the summer.

Re: Which scarf do you like best?
My stripy scarf was stolen within months of starting at CH. In fact, come to think of it, most of my clothes were stolen, and by the time I left all I had was about 3 socks and a pair of rugby shorts. Damn you thieving knaves. Bet you're still doing it.
So I'll have to say Gerald Scarfe.
